Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

Acceptance is made through an unchecked checkbox at signup, next to conspicuous links to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. We record who accepted, which version, and when. Material changes require renewed acceptance. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Eligibility and your account

The platform is intended for people 18 and older. You provide truthful information, keep one account per person, and are responsible for the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. We may refuse or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.

3. The service: free modules and the certificate annual fee

CleanerFlow Academy is a private, online, trilingual certification platform: it assesses and certifies the knowledge residential cleaners and small teams already have, and issues a private certificate to those who pass. It is not a school or a vocational course, and it is not a job agency, a job board, a client broker, a government agency, a licensing authority, or a body accredited by any official organization. The modules and all platform content are, and will remain, free.

When you complete the 7 modules, the record of your completion and the badges you earned stay in your account, at no cost and with no deadline. The certificate (the “certificate”), described in Section 4, is the verifiable document you show to clients, and it comes through one of three paths: you are a Founding Member, CleanerFlow has granted you a courtesy, or you pay the individual annual certificate fee. Once issued, the certificate is valid for twelve (12) months and is renewable. Renewal, for everyone, depends on passing the 7-module recap quiz again — that is how the certificate keeps meaning something after the first year.

The certificate fee is individual, prepaid, and billed once per year, never monthly. The current price is US$19.99 per year. Any price change will be communicated in advance and will apply only to renewals after that notice; members already paying may have their price locked as described in that notice. There is no automatic recurring charge without your act of renewing.

The first one hundred (100) people to COMPLETE the 7 modules and earn the certificate are “Founding Members.” Creating an account reserves nothing and there is no deadline to finish: the spot goes to whoever completes. Founding Member status is FOR LIFE and never regresses — once earned, issuing and renewing the certificate are free forever (the waiver is on the payment; the annual recap still applies to everyone), including after letting the certificate lapse and renewing it later. Free educational content is unaffected either way.

CleanerFlow may grant a courtesy that covers the certificate fee for a period of time. While it is in effect, the certificate is issued and stays active at no cost to you. A courtesy is personal and non-transferable, and each grant stands on its own; once the period ends, the certificate follows the same rules as any other — renewal goes through the annual fee, unless you are a Founding Member.

Anyone who accepted a previous version of these Terms before this version took effect remains under the previous rule: the certificate is issued upon completing the 7 modules, valid for twelve (12) months, and the annual fee applies only to renewal. This condition is personal and lasts as long as the account exists.

A valid certificate is required to access CleanerFlow Helpers and the Academy Community, which is reserved for members with an active credential; an expired or lapsed certificate will not pass verification. Lapsing does not lock you out of learning: lessons, modules, tools and badges already earned remain available, and what stops is the credential itself — the public verification page shows “expired,” the QR no longer attests validity, and the PDF certificate is no longer issued as current. Free features may otherwise change or be discontinued at our discretion. Founding benefits are personal, non-transferable, and may be revoked in cases of fraud or violation of these Terms.

4. NATURE OF THE CERTIFICATE AND BADGES — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

The certificate and the badges are PRIVATE RECOGNITION issued by CleanerFlow Academy only. They are NOT, and you may not represent them as: a government license, a state certification or registration, professional licensure, an accredited credential, work authorization, or proof of insurance (“insured”), bonding (“bonded”), or a background check.

Completing the modules or earning the certificate does NOT guarantee clients, gigs, hiring, income, or any outcome. The content is informational. You remain solely responsible for obtaining the licenses, permits, registrations, taxes, and insurance required in your city and state. Misrepresenting a badge or certificate as a public or third-party credential is prohibited; we may revoke recognition for misuse.

5. The CleanerFlow ecosystem and Helpers access

The record of your completion and the badges you earned are yours, stay in your account, and never depend on payment. The certificate is the verifiable document that attests that completion to third parties, and it is the certificate — not your learning, not your badges — that depends on Founding status, a courtesy, or the annual fee.

CleanerFlow Academy is part of a family of CleanerFlow LLC products that includes CleanerFlow Leads (and the Helpers platform inside it), CleanerFlow Pro, and CleanerFlow Agenda. Each is a separate product with its own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which you accept when you enter it. Nothing in these Terms creates rights over those other products, and accepting here does not replace the acceptance required there.

An ACTIVE certificate unlocks access to the Helpers platform. Active means within the 365-day validity period: if your certificate expires, Helpers access closes until you renew it. The Founding Cleaner Program waives that fee for the first 100 people who COMPLETE the certification — creating an account reserves nothing. For everyone else, keeping a certificate active depends on paying the individual prepaid annual fee described in Section 3. This does NOT affect the modules: lessons, tools and badges stay free and available even with an expired certificate.

Helpers is a connection platform, not a job agency or a staffing company. CleanerFlow employs no one there, does NOT run criminal background checks, and does not verify the identity, work authorization, licenses, qualifications, or insurance of any member. Price, schedule, transportation, and conditions are agreed directly between the people involved; CleanerFlow is not a party to those agreements, does not process payment, and is not responsible for no-shows, quality, damage, or disputes.

Holding the certificate does not guarantee work, clients, hiring, income, or any outcome, inside or outside Helpers. The certificate is what lets you ENTER the platform — not a promise about what happens once you are in. Use of Helpers is governed by the CleanerFlow Leads Terms, which you accept separately, and CleanerFlow may change, suspend, or end this integration at any time with reasonable prior notice.

6. No professional advice; chemical safety

All content is general educational information, not professional, legal, medical, or safety advice for any specific situation. Product and chemical-safety content is general guidance: always follow manufacturer instructions, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), labels, and OSHA and local rules. You assume all risk in applying what you learn. Never mix chemical products.

7. Disclaimer of warranties (“AS IS”)

THE SERVICE, CONTENT, CERTIFICATES, AND BADGES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION OR THAT CONTENT IS ALWAYS CURRENT OR COMPLETE.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CleanerFlow is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the total you paid us in the prior 12 months and (b) US$100. Some states do not allow certain exclusions; in those cases, the limits apply to the maximum extent permitted.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CleanerFlow and its staff from third-party claims arising out of your use of the service, content you submit, misrepresentation of a certificate or badge, your cleaning work or business, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

10. Intellectual property and your content (Practical Proof photos)

The modules, videos, text, badge designs, and the certificate belong to or are licensed to CleanerFlow. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to access the content for your own personal use only. Copying, reselling, scraping, or redistributing the content is prohibited.

You keep ownership of the content you submit (for example, Practical Proof photos) and grant us only a narrow license to operate the service (store it, show it to you and the review team, and assess completion). Submission does NOT grant rights to use it for marketing, public display, portfolio, or AI-model training — any such use requires your separate opt-in consent. You represent that you have the rights to what you submit and that it does not violate the privacy or rights of others (for example, no faces, addresses, documents, children, or client names).

11. Acceptable use

The following are prohibited: fraud, impersonation, misrepresenting a credential, sharing assessment answers, sharing or reselling access, submitting unlawful, harassing, or infringing content, scraping, reverse engineering, circumventing security or using abusive automation, and submitting third-party content (clients/homes) without permission. Violations may lead to suspension, termination, and badge revocation.

12. Termination and suspension

You may close your account at any time. After you cancel, you have 45 days to reactivate it. After that, the account and its data are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy, and the certificate can no longer be verified. We may suspend or terminate accounts at any time, especially for violations of these Terms or credential misrepresentation, with notice when possible. After termination, access ends and badges/certificates may be revoked for cause. Sections 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 13 survive termination.

13. Changes to the Terms and to free/paid status

We may change these Terms, the service, features, and the free/paid structure at any time. Material changes will be communicated (in-app notice or email) and will require renewed acceptance. Continued use after non-material updates means acceptance. A future certificate-renewal fee, if introduced, will be communicated in advance. Introducing or changing pricing will not retroactively remove the free-renewal benefit of Founding Members who keep their certificate active, as described in Section 3.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

CleanerFlow Academy is operated by CleanerFlow LLC, a California limited liability company based in San Diego, California. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes will be resolved by individual, binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act, with a waiver of class actions and class arbitration. You may instead use small-claims court for eligible disputes, and you may opt out of arbitration by sending written notice within 30 days of accepting these Terms. This clause is under legal review and may be adjusted to meet state requirements.

15. Honest advertising (FTC and state laws)

We make no guaranteed-income, guaranteed-clients, or guaranteed-results promises. We do not use fake testimonials; any genuine testimonial discloses material connections (such as free access or founding-member status). We commit to avoiding deceptive practices, consistent with the FTC and state consumer-protection (UDAP) laws across all U.S. states.

16. General provisions and contact

If any clause is held invalid, the rest remains in effect (severability). These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement. No waiver by tolerance. We may assign these Terms; you may not. The English version controls in case of translation conflict.
