What a notification must contain — §512(c)(3)(A)
The statute lists six elements. A notification missing any of them is not effective and may not be acted upon. This is not our requirement — it is the statute.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed — or, if several works at one site, a representative list.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough information for us to locate it (a direct link is best).
- Your contact information: address, telephone number and, if available, email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Counter-notification — §512(g)(3)
If your material was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or that the use is authorized, you may send a counter-notification with four elements:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your district (or, if you are outside the United States, any district where CleanerFlow LLC may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notification.
A false claim carries liability for damages — §512(f)
Anyone who knowingly makes a false claim that material is infringing — or that it was removed by mistake — is liable for the resulting damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. This cuts both ways, and exists precisely so that nobody has their own work pulled down on a whim.
How we handle notices
On receiving a valid notification we remove or disable access to the material and notify the person who submitted it. If we receive a valid counter-notification we forward it to the complaining party and may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days, unless they tell us they have sought a court order.
A note about your photos: Practical Proof images are private by default and are not published. Submitting a photo does not give us the right to use it for marketing, public display, or AI training — that requires your separate consent, as stated in the Privacy Policy.
Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe, in appropriate circumstances. That is a condition of the protection this page exists to preserve, and we apply it.
This registration covers CleanerFlow LLC and every service it operates, including CleanerFlow Leads, CleanerFlow Pro, CleanerFlow Agenda, CleanerFlow Academy, CleanerFlow Helpers and MailMundo.
